A 5km Fun Run for Everyone
Get ready to get messy, smile big, and make a difference! Colour Up for Kids is a vibrant 5km fun run packed with colour, laughter, and feel-good vibes.
Along the course, you’ll dash, stroll, or dance your way through bursts of powdered paint, foam tunnels, bubble zones, inflatable obstacles, and uplifting music from start to finish. There’s no pressure, no timing chips, and no competition — just pure fun.
Colour Up for Kids is open to all ages and abilities. Whether you choose to run, walk, skip, dance, or take it at your own pace, this is an event where everyone belongs. Bring your friends, family, colleagues, or come along solo — just don’t forget to wear white and prepare to be colourful!

Every step you take helps support local children and families facing childhood cancer, life-limiting, and life-threatening conditions. Simply by joining in, you’re helping to make a real difference in their lives.

What's included
Location
Each runner will receive a colourful pair of sunglasses and a pouch of powdered paint to use at any point. All runners will receive a medal for taking on Colour Up for Kids.

Getting there
Parking is available on site and you will be directed by our friendly team of volunteers. However we do encourage you to share cars where possible as the car park will be busy. Also don't forget if you are bringing your car you may want to pack some protection for your seats from the coloured paint.
Alternatively bus routes 71, 97 and 98 run close to the entrance along Tewkesbury Road.
Event Village
Step into the heart of the fun at the Colour Up for Kids Event Village — a buzzing, family-friendly space where spectators are just as welcome as participants. Refuel with a great selection of food and drink, turn up the fun by getting extra colourful and sparkly, and capture the moment with photos alongside a Stormtrooper or a number of mascots. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or getting race-ready, the Event Village is the place to soak up the atmosphere before heading to the start line. Don’t miss our high-energy Zumba warm-up, designed to get everyone moving, smiling, and in the perfect mood to kick off the most colourful 5km around.
